Jbratton, I have follow your step by step check and at the end i went editing the nessusrc file by hand ! And the result was not what i except... I set all plugins to on (they were off), change what look right to me and launch 1 test for 2 IP i own and have already tested. Instead of becoming bigger and more interesting the report show me half of the vulnerability found before. (one is a simple XP without any protection and i could read user password etc) I have also look at nessusd.conf witouh out founding more things to set. ... I imagine that i have to change ans test things little by little and see what is the result but i can take years ! :) And i have so much questions... Isn't somewhere a "standards" set of NessusWX i could use ? - A set to test network under XP (windows) - A set to test network under XP (windows) under a firewall etc...
