I am doing scans against Windows machines on a Novell based network. I was wondering if I put in SMB login/password information into the nessus configuration file if it would login to the machines correctly on the Novell network. I have done this on Windows based networks fine and it logs in and does the additional checks. Will this work on a Novell network or is SMB not supported on Novell networks? I have tried researching this on the internet and haven't found much useful information on whether SMB is supported or not on Novell networks.
