HP-UX is not supported. Nessus compiles on it, but after that, you're
really on your own. Maybe your system hangs because of the way raw
sockets are being handled, or maybe it simply hangs because you're
running out of memory. If you can't debug the problem by yourself,
there's no way we'll be able to do it.
At that point, I'd suggest investing money in a recent intel box running
Linux.
