No. "Local Unix tests" are only enabled on 2.1.x "not so unstable" version. > 2) Is there a way for me to create a 'profile' that will allow me to > save settings for a session in terms of enabled plugins/settings etc? > What I am looking for is to create a profile for cisco, windows, unix > etc. and easily be able to tailor my scan to the applicable system. cp .nessusrc cisco.nessusrc # for example nessus -c cisco.nessusrc # Here, edit your preferences, plugin set, etc. and close the client. However, keep in mind that - new plugins will be anbled by default, so you'll need to clean your "profile" regularly. - "optimize" would do the job automatically. There is a new optimization_level option in nessusd.conf on 2.1.x which makes the optimization less aggressive, if needed. Default level is 3, I prefer level 2, which ignores the "script_exclude_key" instructions. _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
