Remote connect

I am logged in to my linux server remotely, ssh -l root -p 222 -L 
22:192.168.x.x:22 hostname now that I have a vpn connect via ssh how to 
I connect to the nessus server on that linux machine to run a scan

Also apart from remote connect across the internet how can I do this 
locally. Scan from a windows pc. I got the client can't configure if 
well.
