Kelly, In the /opt/nessus/sbin directory that should be a command labeled nessus-add-first-user .
There is documentation at the Nessus site under the bar link labeled Documentation, see here: http://www.nessus.org/documentation/ If you are upgrading and want to retain old users from a 2.x install, see page 12 of the installation guide, if this is a new installation and users need to be created, see page 16 of the installation guide. Well this is bizarre. Can't find where I create user credentials to login to the Nessus 3.0.2 daemon on OS X. When I first installed it, the client connected fine but I don't remember if the installer script asked me to create user credentials or not. I'm assuming it did. Either way I can't seem to create a new user/password pair now, and can't remember my previous credentials. There is no documentation or online help available. In nessus 2.x it was easy to create users, but it's unclear how to do this with OS X in version 3. Please advise.
