Hi, Let me explain the following scenario:
- Linux server running nessus 3 with about 10K plugins When I run "nessus -qxpS host 1241 user pass" remotely it returned a list in sql format of plugins installed. Ok! about 10K. My nessusd.conf has the following settings: auto_update = yes auto_update_delay = 24 After some weeks, nessus reached 11K plugins download and installed automatically. But the problem is: As I did not restart nessusd, when I run "nessus -qxpS host 1241 user pass" again it returns the same 10K plugins. It seems that I need to restart nessusd in order to have all the latest plugins returned via "nessus -qxpS host 1241 user pass". I need the plugins list in order to populate a SQL Database.
