Yes. Basically, nessusd calls nessus-fetch which in turns restarts
nessusd.
You should see :
[Tue Jul 11 16:07:14 2006][29239] nessusd-update: Fetching the newest
plugins from the master server
Followed by a restart of the nessus daemon if the plugin archive has
changed.
