Doug, Depends what you want to use it for.
If you’re planning to combine the nbe files and then use NessusClient to
convert to a report format (e.g., -i file.nbe –o file.html), you might be
very surprised at how forgiving NessusClient is. In a nutshell, you can just cat everything together into one file. If you’re feeding the combined file
into something that expects a law-abiding NBE file, then you might have to
strip out duplicate “scan_start” and “scan_end” records
and mess around with the datestamps on the remaining “scan_start”
and “scan_end.” John From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Doug Nordwall I have a whole mess of nbes for individual machines. Anyone know of a
script or a simple mechanism to join them all together? I am pretty sure that
cat will not work without some massaging at least. |
