Depends what you want to use it for. If you're planning to combine the nbe files and then use NessusClient to convert to a report format (e.g., -i file.nbe –o file.html), you might be very surprised at how forgiving NessusClient is. In a nutshell, you can just cat everything together into one file.
If you're feeding the combined file into something that expects a law-abiding NBE file, then you might have to strip out duplicate "scan_start" and "scan_end" records and mess around with the datestamps on the remaining "scan_start" and "scan_end."

I have a whole mess of nbes for individual machines. Anyone know of a script or a simple mechanism to join them all together? I am pretty sure that cat will not work without some massaging at least.
