Hi All,
My environment:
OS: MS Windows XP SP2, and close the system firewall
Nessus: Version 3.0.6.1
Problem:
Install nessus with default configuration, client can not connect to local nessus;
Modify the listening IP to my LAN IP address, local and remote client can not connect to nessus server;
Error logs:
$install_dir\logs\server.log
---"scan.exe closed connection : 109"
My actions:
0. search in mailing list, no usefull information;
1. reinstall Nessus, doesn't work;
2. apply activatioin key with 'service provider', doesn't work;
3. capture the packets locally, not more information founded;
I need your help, and thanks in advance.
