Interesting. I don't recall ever having gotten it to work ok on the first run.
What release were you able to do this with?

When I looked into trying to make it work, what I found led me to believe that
it was 'difficult' to make work when a project uses multiple makefiles, which
we do. It was recommended that a single makefile be used, so that make could
sort out all the dependencies at once.
