Good day,

We have been trying to compile net-snmp 5.3 on Solaris 9, with support for
hardware sensors. The hardware is a stock Sun Fire V240. We know this is
experimental, but, the information would be very useful and we have lab
equipment to test it on.

The README.solaris was very helpful with information and in supplying the right
configure options, and I can see that the daemon is linked against the picl
library. But, as you can see here, the table is still empty. We've tried a
bunch of different configure options, to no affect. prtdiag -v supplies the
expected information, and picld is running.

Configure options are shown in the output.

If the issue is support for this hardware, we'd be happy to help contribute.

Thank you!
