Whoops; sorry I missed it.

I'm torn on this one.  I think reducing the structure size is likely
beneficial to "those small environments", but I'm not truly fond of all
#ifdefs we could put into structures to make this happen.  (but then,
why don't I care about the code itself?)

Certainly the .c part looks fine.
