Hello folks -- I'm an amateur in net-snmp; and I'm brand-new to this list.
The net-snmp win32 agent builds and runs flawlessly. But it was never meant to be a drop-in replacement for the win32 base agent. I aim to extend that agent to be such a drop-in replacement. The base agent I have in mind includes two improvements over the current base agent: 1. it implments v3, yielding a trilingual agent; and 2. it exposes the net-snmp getnext interface for use by the extension-agent developer. I've written a functional spec for this agent. I ask for your comments and criticisms on the paper.
