*I'm trying to get python bindings to work with net-snmp on windows.*
I tried to install the net-snmp windows binary for *5.6.1.1. *
but I had to exit because I was prompted to install open ssl
from: http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
I then installed Win32 OpenSSL v1.0.0g
Light<http://www.slproweb.com/download/Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_0_0g.exe>
which prompted me to install
Visual C++ 2008
Redistributables<http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF>
however I realized from the hompeage I need 0.9.8r
so I uninstalled openssl
and downloaded
Win32 OpenSSL v0.9.8t
Light<http://www.slproweb.com/download/Win32OpenSSL_Light-0_9_8t.exe>
which was the closest I could find to v0.9.8r
however when I try to install net-snmp it still thinks openssl isn't
installed and if I ignore it, I'm not able to import net-snmp into python.
Is there a way to use a windows binary to get python keybindings to work?
