I am asking the developers of our application about this but in the mean time they wrote:
"The snmpd leaks memory on every table modification query. The amount of lost memory is significant. Another workaround is to restart snmpd every couple of hours."


The following patch seems to help the problem but not alleviate it completely: "http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/net-snmp/net-snmp/agent/helpers/table_dataset.c?r1=5.24&r2=5.25";

Any ideas if another fix will be implemented in the production version of 5.2?
