Ok, apply the attached patch and rebuild.

Start snmpd like so:  snmpd -f -Le -DmibII:freebsd --logTimeStamp=yes

then run 'snmpgetnext -c public -v 2c localhost ifTable'
and 'snmpgetnext -c public -v 2c localhost ifPhysAddress'

and send me the output.
