OK, I did have libcrypto (SSL) installed after all in a weird location (/opt/sfw/lib - bletch), so this is the same issue as discussed the README.solaris file. I hate to use crle, but I'm sure this was discussed ad nauseam at some point in the past, and I don't want to offend anyone's sensibilities any further. I'll shut up now... -w
