hi,
        net-snmp 5.3.0.1

        snmpd.conf:
                rocommunity     nssro

i snmpwalk the vacmViewTreeFamilyTable, as the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] leiy]# snmpwalk -v 2c -c nssro localhost snmpVacmMIB | grep
vacmView
SNMP-VIEW-BASED-ACM-MIB::vacmViewSpinLock.0 = INTEGER: 0
SNMP-VIEW-BASED-ACM-MIB::vacmViewTreeFamilyMask."_all_".1.0 = ""

SNMP-VIEW-BASED-ACM-MIB::vacmViewTreeFamilyStatus."_none_".1.2 = INTEGER:

i translate these to the following texts using the snmpd.conf directive:
//      _all_   included        0
//      _all_   included        1
//      _all_   included        2
//      _none_  excluded        0
//      _none_  excluded        1
//      _none_  excluded        2

are there any specifial meaning?

the the default VACM model part of snmpd.conf(5) in net-snmp-5.1.2 release
are deleted along with the succedent release. it says:

       Default VACM model
              The default configuration of the agent, as shipped, is
functionally
              equivalent to the following entries:
              com2sec   public    default   public
              group     public    v1   public
              group     public    v2c  public
              group     public    usm  public
              view      all  included  .1
              access public "" any noauth exact all none none

are there any good reason about this evolvement along with the net-snmp release?
