Tried net-snmp-svn-main_20080531_0310.tar.gz, but still the same.
After working for an hour:

# top -n 1 -p $(pidof snmptrapd)

Tasks: 1 total, 0 running, 1 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 5.8% us, 1.1% sy, 0.0% ni, 90.1% id, 2.7% wa, 0.2% hi, 0.1% si
Mem: 1025512k total, 862276k used, 163236k free, 40244k buffers
Swap: 2048276k total, 41984k used, 2006292k free, 206920k cached

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
18269 root 15 0 540m 449m 2056 S 0 44.9 0:10.56 snmptrapd

I also noticed that it's not always increasing, it's floating in about 500M
always, then it descreases by 50M half an hour, then keeps on increasing
again. May be this is related to the thing that I run external perl script
half an hour that gets list of MACs from ports.
