I had a similar problem, but I was generating informs from a subagent on a machine with multiple interfaces where I needed to ensure informs were coming from a specific interface. See the thread starting here: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.network.net-snmp.user/25707/focus=25707 I haven't tried it, but I think if you add '--clientaddr=<source_ip>' to your snmptrap command line it will get you the result you want. -- Glenn McAllister <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> +1 416 348 1594 SOMA Networks, Inc. http://www.somanetworks.com/ +1 416 977 1414 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list Net-snmp-users@lists.sourceforge.net Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
