Hello, we are running net-snmp-5.4.2.1-4.6 with SuSe Enterprise 10. The net-snmp package has been compiled with agentx support, but we did not enable it in the snmpd.conf configuration file (by putting a line "master agentx"), nor did we pass the -x option to snmptrapd.
Nevertheless, we can see the following messages when we start a systrace on snmptrapd: 20553 connect(10, {sa_family=AF_FILE, path="/var/run/agentx/master"}, 110) = -1 ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused) 20553 close(10) = 0 20553 socket(PF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_IP) = 10 20553 connect(10, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(705), sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}, 16) = -1 ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused) We are wondering why this messages appear, because we did not enable agentx in snmpd.conf.
