i'm using ubuntu since 2017; my current laptop was purchased from tuxedo
(https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/) with ubuntu preinstalled & kde
plasma. all working fine. i've also just done an endof10 installfest
(yay servus! yay aileen!) with two old windows laptops, & we installed
mint with cinnamon desktop - pretty straightforward install & seems to
be very easy for the previously windows users to transition to 🙂
i also have /e/ os on a fairphone3; & recently deinstalled microg as i
kept getting prompted to update google play services. now i get constant
notifications that certain apps aren't going to work without google play
services, however they do work - the only thing i've noticed not working
is the map part of my local transport app. which i can live without. but
still trying to better understand the microg-google relationship.

I started using Ubuntu because it matched a server I needed to
administer for a collaborative project, and after some brief
experimentations with fedora, arch, and other distros, I keep coming
back for general quality-of-life stuff (or just ingrained habits).

Hi all,
I'm using Mint Linux for my main desktop and laptop.
Is anyone else using Linux, if so, what OS and why?
Wishing you well.
