Hi,

I just upgraded to 10.1 i386 and an running pkgin to upgrade and install stuff. I did run "pkgin update" several times.

Installing subversion-base:
[1/2] serf-1.3.10nb2.tgz 100%   78KB  78.0KB/s   00:01
download error: serf-1.3.10nb2 size does not match pkg_summary

if I run pkgin clean and retry.... I get the same error

My connection is reliable and also retrying seveal times and getting the same error would be strange.

It is not that single package, but e.g. during install of windowmaker or firefox dependencies:

download error: cairo-1.18.2 size does not match pkg_summary

I just directly tried:
sudo pkg_add http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/i386/10.1/All/subversion-base-1.14.4nb3.tgz

and I got a working svn. I proceeded with pkg_add for windowmaker and firefox, gimp... all installed fine and works fine!

Thus, somehow, there is an issue with pkgin ? It is much more convenient than pkg_add with a full URL

Riccardo
