Why would you want to remove it if it’s working and not blocking anything else? The last time I ran X11 on NetBSD on a SPARCstation 2 was about 5 years ago, but that’s because a bunch of other things have been going on in my life.
It’s exactly the sort of thing that, at least on NetBSD, I’d expect to just continue to work unless there was some extremely compelling case for its removal. — Chris
