curious . i've seen several domains of customers one on registrar level by
stupid EU law.

just one example: a NL company runs a .COM domain for a web shop selling food
products legal in NL but somehow regulated by pharma law in DE. Registrar in
DE (one of the biggest in germany) got legal claim from some pharmacists
lobbys lawyer shutting down the whole domain same day without notice to the
domain holder. The shop was available in german as well - enough to claim
that he offers (did not selled...) prodicts illegally to germany.

There are much more countries today where i would feel more safe with domain
registrations then in EU.

I would recommend to tactically register domains at registrars in countries
which are at least not the very best friend with your potential enemies and
their legal system.

just my .02 €
