Hi Antoine
I can't easily answer to your problem with the Avaya switch - it sounds
like an issue pulling the VLAN table and then also layer three support on
your router is not revealing all the MAC-IP pairs. Perhaps opening a ticket
on GitHub and someone can take a look. A device snapshot would help if
possible. Remember that MAC-Port mappings come from the switch, and MAC-IP
pairs come from the router (gateway) device.
For your second question, the configuration with two pollers will work fine
and Netdisco is designed to work that way (devices_only is the way to do
it!). Let us know in a ticket if you think it isn't working!
The web interface and database are shared and can be hosted anywhere and
will work for all devices. You can have multiple poller backends on
different machines (even shared with web and DB as you have) and they can
have distinct devices to poll (as you have) or overlap or be fully
redundant, it will work fine.
regards
Oliver
