Nick,
I was careful _not_ to change the default value of PREFIX in the main Makefile
when incorporating your changes for stage dir. I just downloaded the 1.0.7
tarball to double-check and I'm not seeing where it is that the target dir is
changed. Are you perhaps looking at another copy of the file?

The default installation changed to /usr/local/www/netdot in 1.0.7.
Was this intentional, or did it get sucked in as part of #1826? If
unintentional, the attached patch reverts to the old location.

Resolution: fixed
#1826 was incorrectly modified to change the installation link location of the
manual. This patch fixes this. The whole point of the stagedir is that it's a
temporary staging location, so any links to the staging directory itself are by
necessity incorrect.
