I didn't want to start any flame war here. Please take what I say with good grace when I say that you are surprisingly ignorant. I said I receive the daily digests that are compiled and distributed to my email address from netfilter mailing list. If you had ever received these you would realise what I mean . It is a list of all the messages posted to the list, one after the other in one long message. It is not possible to view them in any way properly rendered if people post in HTML. It just doesn't work. If you view the mailing list via http://lists.samba.org/pipermail/netfilter/2002-June/023640.html for example, crap HTML encoded messages are a big mess. > > >My response to this is instead of asking everyone else to limit >themselves perhaps you should either upgrade your mail reader to one >that handles HTML or come to the conclusion that the rest of the world >would prefer to live in a richer email environment and learn to live >with it. HTML in email is here to stay and, I for one, will not go back. > My email client is Mozilla 0.9.9. It has no trouble displaying HTML encoded messages. If a *properly* encoded singular email message arrives it is displayed correctly. If a long list of email messages, one after the other, some plain text, some html, is received (Like a netfilter Digest ) the rendering is impossible. Do you get it now??? I did say please.... BTW, are you twelve years old?? Former Web TV user?? Cheers, Michael
