I'm developing an application that requires NetMeeting to run over a
wireless modem. I'm using the Sierra Wireless MP200 modem that uses CDPD
and has a maximum baud rate of 19,200. The connection works fine until I
start transmitting video. Once the first video image is received by the
other computer, NetMeeting freezes on both machines. If I stop transmitting
video, things return to normal.

I'm assuming that the data transmission is too much for the modem, and that
a bottleneck forms. If this is the case, then I'd like to limit the number
of frames/second that are being transmitted. Would this solve my problem?
If so, is this something that can be done in NetMeeting, or do I need a
camera that has this adjustment? And if I do need a different camera, does
anyone have any suggestions?

I'm currently running NetMeeting 3.01 on Windows 98. I have a 166Mhz
processor with 64mb of Ram, and am using a Logitech Quickcam Pro.

Thanks!
John
