Brian- I am running Office '97 on the remote PC (my PC at work). The document opens fine when I am sitting at the remote PC, but if I use RDS to open the same document, it crashes the remote PC. This is for any Word doc I can find. Like I said, Word opens fine by itself, but as soon as you try to open an existing doc file, it crashes. I have my remote PC set to auto reboot after a blue screen crash, so I sat and tried quite a few documents with the same results. Any other Office product is fine (Excel, PowerPoint , Access, etc) Strange, huh? -Rob <<<<You are opening any existing Word file on the remote computer that you are attached to and controlling via RDS -- and it crashes the remote computer? I have never had a problem like this -- what version of Word is running on the remote computer?
