If you know the person's IP address, then that's all you have
to enter to place a NetMeeting call to that person. The "gotcha" is
that usually you don't know the person's IP address. When you log into
an ISP, your IP address is dynamically assigned to you - you may not
have the same IP address all of the time. That is where the ILS servers
come into play. When a user logs into an ILS server, the ILS server
captures the user's IP address, and does a name to IP address translation
when you select a person's name to connect to.
