You don't need any data base product to run ILS ( and as far as I know it won't use a 
data base product - I haven't played with Win2000 though so I don't know how its 
Active Directory works or fits in)-- ILS maintains a non permanent dynamic LDAP 
directory based on user supplied data - the only entries retained are those currently 
logged in.
