I'm assuming you're using NM 3.01.

As Brian mentioned, there are actually two protocols involved. H.323 for
audio/voice and T.120 for data. H.323 is T.120 aware. The two Netmeetings
declare a T.120 capability and negotiate an address and port to connect on
as part of the H.323 connection. Between two Netmeetings, this will always
be the address each NetMeeting is running on and port 1503. I can't recall
which machine (caller or callee) actually makes the first T.120 socket
connection (NetMeeting uses 3).

Does the Chat window say "Not in a call" or "Chatting with 0 other(s)"? I'm
guessing the first, which would indicate that a T.120 call never actually
connected.

Try this when you have the problem:
1) ping the other machine. What's the roundtrip time for each machine?
2) Try to telnet to port 1503 from each machine to the other: "telnet
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1503". If you're not getting chat (or whiteboard, or
application sharing), this should fail.
3) Tell us what the results were.

It's a pretty unusual problem. At the bottom of things, you're just making
a few more socket connections between the two machines, which you've already
done to set up the audio/video connections.
