This is not down the normal audio/video problems of using NetMeeting for
Video Conferencing.

When using NetMeeting from home to access another system in Remote Sharing
mode I keep getting the following message:
NetMeeting was unable to place a secure call. The certificate you have
chosen may not be usable with NetMeeting.

I can access the same remote system from many other computers using
NetMeeting, just not mine from home. I have reinstalled NetMeeting many
times (including the deletion of any trace of it on my disk). Is the
certificate stored some special place such that it is not replaced on a
re-install?

The settings are identical on all the systems:
Tools -> Option -> Security
* Use privacy (encryption) only
NetMeeting Certificate (privacy only) is the only certificate shown in the
window listing certificates.

Any ideas how I screwed up my home system - Win98? I don't ever remember
doing any other security related things at home that I didn't also do at
work. Plus the remote sharing used to work at home the last time I used it
a few months ago.
