Andy described a template mechanism different than any presented during the NETMOD session. If https://github.com/netmod-wg/template-reqs/issues/7 regards “living templates”, the other approach might be labeled “dead templates” (sorry, not sorry) or maybe “use-once templates” (better) In theory, both approaches could be supported simultaneously but, if living templates are standardized, then there would be no need to also standardize the other approach.
