We even ported it to our boot loader, which runs on ARM7500s, StrongARMs and various ARM9 parts. However, we also use GCC, because despite its price, we've found it the best compiler for the job. I'm yet to get it going on a Cortex M3 device, though :) NetSurf used to contain quite a few C99isms, basically mandating either GCC or something based on the EDG front end, however most of these have been removed. If it doesn't build with the compiler of your choice, it's either because we've not fixed all those C99isms (apart from a few, very obvious, very easy to fix places), or because your compiler is buggy.
