Warnings are ok... I am talking about the -ggdb3 addition which
affects the output.
What do you prefer, this patch that enables me to have
GCC_DEBUG_FLAGS=" " or add --disable-maintainer-flags or something
like this?

We discuss this libdir at the different thread... I can workaround
this by explicit parameters, however the CFLAGS forces me to patch.
