Actually, a bpfmod implementation already exists at
ftp://ftp.cup.hp.com/dist/networking/tools/bpfmod/
by HP's Rick Jones. Back in 2000 (probably in the days of the Solaris 8
foundation sources), I hacked it to get it to compile on Solaris, but don't
recall if I ever tried it. I may well have been distracted by other duties.
