Sun Ray DTUs do NOT run Solaris or any other general purpose operating system.
Solaris SPARC and Solaris x86 both support and have done for years booting
diskless - this is actually how network install is done and how new platform
support is added. This has been used recently in the bring up of Solaris on
sun4v and on Xen and on PPC.
