Does anyone know if true "jumbo" frames are allowed for the bge driver? [where jumbo >= 9000 MTU]

I've got a BCM5703 which is documented by Broadcom as supporting up to 9000
frame size. My attempts with using 9000 in place of 8000 MTU in the
aforementioned suggestions didn't work with SE-DE 2/07 (b55). However, I am
able to get an 8000 MTU working, which leads me to believe this is a driver
limitation.
Wes, bge supports MTU set to 9000 if you enable jumbo frame in bge.conf. What is your network env? If you link the bge interface back-to-back with a remote side, have you checked the remote side and make sure it has workable MTU settings?

Any help achieving a 9000 MTU with this driver is greatly appreciated.
