my solaries machine only has two network interfaces bge0 and bge1. I want to connect the machine to two subnets via a switch, while this switch only accept bge2 and bge3. So is there any way to rename the network interfaces from bge0/ bge1 to bge2/bge3? or just create two new interfaces? or is there any other options?
I know how to create logical interface by using such as: ifconfig <interface> addif <new IP address>/24 up But how to create or rename physical interface, like bge0 and bge1?
