I'm not entirely sure I follow the terminology above, but there shouldn't be any problem with having a single IPMP data address across an IPMP group. Further, IPMP test addresses are optional -- though if you choose not to use them on an interface, and a data address is also not configured on the interface, you'll need to bring up a 0.0.0.0 placeholder address so that the stack can push packets through the interface. -- meem _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
