What if ping works and nslookup doesnt work?  The /etc/hosts doesnt have the 
hostname entry.  nsswitch.conf has both files and dns listed.  I dont know 
where ping gets the hostname.  When I query the hostname, on some servers, they 
could resolve the names, but on other servers, they couldnt.  resolv.conf are 
the same on the servers.
