Most likely, the previous poster typed "svcs" without the -a. That produces a list without the disabled services, which means (as expected) that there's only physical:nwam enabled and not physical:default. The original symptoms described are similar to several existing CRs. The mechanism used in NWAM to locate the user (scraping through the utmpx records periodically and launching zenity) are not always reliable. That's why we have the NWAM Phase 0.5 "picea" project running. It removes this mechanism. I'd advise living with the workaround (restarting the nwam service) and sitting tight until we can get the new 0.5 GUI out there. -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 35 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
