Depends on the options you use: you grep'ed for the network/physical
service, having passed the -a flag; but you can also grep for nwam
explicitly, or for phys in the output of svcs (no -a), or use the svcs
command's globbing to match the instance or service.  On my system:

muskogee[48]svcs | grep phys
online         Aug_06   svc:/network/physical:nwam
muskogee[49]svcs nwam
STATE          STIME    FMRI
online         Aug_06   svc:/network/physical:nwam
muskogee[50]svcs physical
STATE          STIME    FMRI
disabled       Aug_06   svc:/network/physical:default
online         Aug_06   svc:/network/physical:nwam
