No, that doesn't make any sense.  Plumbing doesn't survive a reboot,
so it should have nothing to do with the problem.

I think it's much more likely that the OpenSolaris distribution has
removed those questions from the start-up sequence (I know that
simplifying install was one of their goals), so there's no way they
can appear after sys-unconfig removes the configuration.  That's why I
directed you to the Indiana project team; they're likely to know more
about sys-unconfig on that distribution than we are.
