Ah, in that case, you want something like OSPF-MP. The concept is that you assign the IP address(es) you want HA for to a "vni0" interface which isn't associated with any physical interface on the system, and configure the routing infrastructure to have routes to the address(es) via each of your connected networks. This can be done by configuring a local routing daemon to advertise host routes via each interface, or by configuring static routes to these addresses on routers that are directly connected to the attached networks (these routers would then propagate reachability information for these addresses via whatever routing protocol they already use). -Seb _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
