Dan: here I was not talking about software but about people. Let me
rephrase:

Do HUMAIN BEINGS using Windows and MacOS tolerate waiting for 3 minutes
before getting online? I can imagine some non-Linux leverage here.

I see little value in "enhancing" NM to support DHCP servers so wrong
that they make *everyone's* life miserable (including Windows and MacOS
users).
